BERTIL-02

10" Tactical GPS + Indoor PX4 + QGround Encrypted Video 2 kg Drop

BERTIL-02 is a 10-inch tactical FPV platform optimized for high-agility operations where rapid verification, target custody, and functional tasks must be executed by dismounted users with minimal setup friction. Adds indoor positioning and PX4-based autonomy architecture for seamless indoor/outdoor transitions — including GPS-denied environments.

Core Capabilities
  • 01

Unique flight performance enabled by a special-developed carbon-fiber frame and optimized electronics combination — high agility, precise control authority, durable under hard handling.

  • 02

Encrypted digital video with up to 35 km theoretical line-of-sight range. Actual range depends on terrain, antenna configuration, and spectrum conditions.

  • 03

Indoor positioning + GPS: enables controlled, stable flight both indoors and outdoors — including GPS-denied environments.

  • 04

Autonomy software baseline: PX4 architecture with QGroundControl to facilitate autonomy-driven functions and mission planning.

  • 05

Tilt camera module enabling observation upward and downward, improving ISR utility and functional work (e.g., precise payload placement and release).

  • 06

Optional LED or IR illumination adjacent to the camera module for low-light and night operations.

  • 07

Payload release enabling multi-mission functional tasks; payload class up to 2 kg.

  • 08

Designed and manufactured in Sweden, with NDAA-aligned critical parts and a continuous transition path toward 100% EU/NATO sourcing. Designed for scalable mass production when required.

  • 09

Arctic-capable and ruggedized for cold-weather operations. Impact-tolerant build — in many collision cases the propeller is the primary consumable.

  • 10

Modular, dismounted-first ecosystem (BYOD philosophy): supports flexible battery and controller choices and avoids heavy dependency on laptops, Pelican cases, and power-hungry ground stations.

Operational Scenarios

Designed for complex environments where GPS-dependent systems fail.

  • Rapid verification ("first look") at mixed indoor/outdoor sites without GPS dependence.
  • Micro-ISR in complex environments with autonomous operations: open terrain, industrial facilities, covered areas, and complex structures.
  • Overwatch and custody with resilient navigation in contested and GPS-degraded environments.
  • Command support via shareable live video feed and standardized reporting workflow.
  • Functional missions using payload release: marking, placing, micro-delivery — executed both manually and autonomously.

Navigation & Software

PX4 baseline with indoor positioning enables full autonomy across GPS-denied spaces.

  • Pilot support: GPS + Indoor Positioning.
  • Flight software stack: PX4 (02-series baseline).
  • Autonomy features: Enabled via PX4 architecture — QGroundControl (mission-dependent feature set).
  • Control option: ELRS-compatible commercial control station. Android phone/tablet or laptop.
  • Indoor positioning + PX4: Enables improved mission options and capabilities across contested and GPS-denied environments.
  • Mobile control option: Supports rapid deployment and reduces ground footprint.

Designed for Critical Missions

Developed to support total defence actors across the full spectrum of operations.
