Sweden Dynamics has officially inaugurated its new urban training facility in Malmö's Eastern Harbour, marking an important milestone in the company's continued growth. The inauguration was attended by Sweden's Minister for Defence, Pål Jonson, and Malmö's Mayor and Chair of the City Executive Committee, Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh.
The event brought together nearly 200 guests from across the defence, industry and public sectors, alongside representatives from leading Swedish media, including Dagens Nyheter, TT, SVT, Sydsvenskan, Dagens Industri, Rapidus and Svensk Tidskrift.
The new facility represents an important step in Sweden Dynamics' evolution. Building on its expertise in advanced defence technology, the company now offers an integrated capability that combines hardware, software and realistic training for organisations across Sweden's total defence. During the inauguration, Sweden Dynamics also demonstrated its AI-enabled swarm capability, developed with support from Vinnova, showcasing the company's continued investment in next-generation autonomous systems.
Speaking during the inauguration, Mayor Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh welcomed Sweden Dynamics' decision to establish and expand its operations in Malmö. She highlighted the growing importance of drone technology not only for Sweden's total defence, but also for civil protection and public services, and expressed her support for the company's continued development in the region.
The inauguration also reflects Malmö's growing role as a hub for defence and dual-use innovation, bringing together government, industry and technology leaders to strengthen Sweden's defence capability and resilience. Through its combined offering of advanced technology and operational training, Sweden Dynamics continues to support the evolving needs of both military and civilian stakeholders.
