Report from the Defence Company Days 2025
At Defence Company Days 2025, stakeholders stressed faster capability development, rapid tech integration and broader innovation—fully aligned with Sweden Dynamics’ Drone-as-a-Service approach.

The Defence Company Days made one thing clear — the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, the Government Offices, the Ministry of Defence, and the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association all agree on a few key points:

  1. The pace of capability development must increase, supported by simpler, more streamlined processes and agreements. There were good examples showing this is possible.

  2. New technology needs to be integrated into real units much faster. How do we deliver operational capabilities within 24 months?

  3. Sweden’s defence industry is strong, but there is a clear demand for innovation that also involves small and medium-sized companies.

  4. Not all development is innovation. Beyond technology, true innovation requires the ability to develop concepts, doctrines, and effective integration into the wider organization.

We had the opportunity to speak with a wide range of stakeholders — many at the highest level. For a young and emerging company in this field, this not only confirms that our direction is right, but also provides valuable insights for how we should evolve our solutions to meet real operational needs.

Under the “Future Defence” framework (see photos), we could clearly see alignment with all the areas we aim to deliver to the military, police, rescue services, and other components of total defence through our unique Drone-as-a-Service concept.

The fact that Sweden Dynamics can already provide what is being described as “the technology of the future” means we are enabling the development of capabilities and doctrines now — before we potentially face a conflict closer to home than Ukraine.

2026 will be a year of partnership, speed, and concrete capability.
